Magic Bullets Review:
"Magic Bullets" is the new ebook from The Mystery Method written by Savoy. It begins with the premise that a magic bullet does not exist and emphasizes on developing certain personality traits as well as intuition in order to become successful in the dating world.
This pretty much hit it right on because too many guys are just too damn LAZY. What I mean by that is, some guys think they can just spend some money on ebooks and bootcamps or spend countless hours on seduction forums theorizing, being keyboard jockeys, and somehow get the girl they want WITHOUT having to CHANGE themselves. You actually have to be socially intuitive. You can't skip that part, so if you don't have much people skills and spend all your time on the computer, its time to get out of the house and work on it. And that takes......TIME!
Regardless, "Magic Bullets" does a fine job breaking down the seduction process from meeting women all the way to relationships. It does so while unifying pretty much every "system" out there be it indirect, direct, NATURAL ROUTINES, phone game, social circles, strip clubs, day game, body language etc.. via the emotional progression model.
I especially liked how QUALIFICATION received a phase on its own, because for a long time, I thought having attractive qualities and decent rapport was enough to get the girl. It explains WHY it needs to be done and how not incorporating it can hurt your attraction game. It also breaks down the structure for qualifying and digs deeper in the A3 of the M3 model.
The book also has its own chapter on relationship management which has not been covered in full detail in any other seduction products I've seen. And its not just about exclusive relationships either. It goes from Traditional to Open relationships, the six different types, and how to deal with each one plus the pros and cons. Having a better grasp of what you want to do AFTER sex sets the tone for how you go about the seduction process in the first place.
The section on storytelling was very helpful and teaches how to make them sound more emotional. while conveying attractive qualities WITHOUT coming off as BRAGGING. This is especially good for the socially unsavvy guys as it helps them develop good stories out of their lives.
I think the section on body language could have been better since after all, IT IS 93% of what you communicate. Then again, you can only write so much about it on paper. Body language needs to be seen and practiced since most of bad body language is done unconsciously.
Yep that’s right, that means getting off the computer and PRACTICING it. If you don’t know where to start or what your doing wrong, then take a damn bootcamp. No girl is gonna blow you off saying that your feet were too close together when you approached her, therefore you communicated low value. Of course the guy is just gonna think he needs a better opener.....yeah.
Though it gave many examples of role-playing and funny stories, the book doesn’t really have its own section on sense of humor. Again, this is a socially intuitive TRAIT that needs to be developed over TIME. No bootcamp in the world is going to turn you into a comedian.
It’s just a matter of connecting with people and having FUN. And if your a guy that spends most of his time connecting to the internet instead... then don’t get mad if the only time you make people laugh is when they’re laughing AT you. However, the book did list a set of examples of what other guys have done to successfully develop their funny bone.
All in all, it was a very informative and entertaining read. I found that I was already doing a lot of the techniques that were covered in the book, but it taught me a couple of cool concepts that helped clear up a lot of aspects in pick up that were still pretty vague..
