As a teacher, I'm only as good as my students. Teaching pickup is a hard and unforgiving job. And while I don't expect fountains of gratitude (it is my job after all), it can also be thankless especially given the demographic of our students.

But then I get emails from students every now and then. Yearly updates if you will. A month ago SMan, an Alumnus Brother who took a 2007 New York City Bootcamp and Asian virgin, emailed me saying that he was now in a Long Term Relationship and in love. Things like that just give me the warm fuzzies.

Now, to top it off, SMan made a music video and song about the Community as well as giving me a shout out. It just brings a tear to my eye. Thanks SMan, you made my day!
